They refine their business philosophy through a mix of practical and theoretical learning experiences.
Location
The Gabelli School of Business has two campuses in New York City. On the edge of the city’s financial district, the Rose Hill campus and the Lincoln Center campus are within touching distance of the biggest stock exchange in the world (the New York Stock Exchange), one of the major global centers of commerce (the Financial District of Lower Manhattan), and the headquarters of the United Nations.
Housing some of the biggest companies in the world, such as IBM, Deloitte, the Bank of China, and PepsiCo, the Gabelli School leverages its long-standing links with the New York business community to ensure its graduates make the most of the New York advantage.
Both campuses are fitted with advanced facilities, including Bloomberg data terminals, trading desks, and live stock tickers.
Accreditations
The Gabelli School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), a global nonprofit organization ensuring business schools meet the highest standards of excellence.
Programs
The Gabelli School of Business offers a variety of master’s programs, designed to provide students with targeted knowledge in key areas of business. These include the MS in Accounting, the MS in Applied Statistics and Decision-Making, the MS in Business Analytics, the MS in Finance, the MS in Health Administration, the MS in Information Technology, the MS in Management, the MS in Marketing Intelligence, the MS in Media Management, the MS in Quantitative Finance, and the MS in Taxation.
The school also has online business master’s degrees, including the Online MS in Finance, the Online MS in Management, and the Online MS in Strategic Marketing Communications.
All master’s students at the Gabelli School also have the option to complete the Responsible Business Leadership Certification™, a program that helps students build the skills needed to lead responsibly.
Scholarships
The Gabelli School of Business offers merit-based scholarships for outstanding master’s applicants. The Early Leaders Scholarship, for example, awards between US$15,000-$25,000 to candidates with an excellent academic record, strong leadership skills, and a demonstrated commitment to society. The Essential/Front-Line Industries Scholarship awards US$15,000 to candidates who are (or have been) frontline workers in industries such as airlines, oil & gas, hospitality, retail, government, healthcare, and education. This scholarship is also awarded to immediate family members of frontline workers, with an amount of US$7,500.
Fun fact
The Responsible Business Leadership Certification™ is an optional program for all master’s students at the Gabelli School of Business. With insightful keynote speakers, a one-night immersion program, leadership coaching, and workshops, the program equips students with the skills they need to become successful leaders who drive positive change.
Students will also complete an online DISC assessment in order to explore their leadership style, build self-awareness, and create a plan to further develop their skills.
