Location
The campus at Bond University consists of lecture theaters, tutorial & case study rooms being conveniently located in the University Center building. Surrounding the university faculties, several student restaurants, cafes and bars encircle the lake. The libraries at Bond are ranked among Australia’s best along with their high-tech lecture halls and latest broadband and Wi-Fi computer connections.
Bond University is located on the Gold Coast, Australia’s 6th largest city with a beautiful coastline all along the eastern border. Bond also has an Institute of Health & Sport located approximately 4 kilometers away from the main campus along with a third institution placed on the ground floor of the Robina Hospital; the Clinical Education & Research Center.
Accreditations
Bond University is accredited by the Association of Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). This enables Bond to draw upon deep engagement with the business community and break down the barriers between classroom and boardroom by synergising business education with business practice.
All of Bond’s postgraduate programs of study in psychology are also accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) as well as approved by the Psychology Board of Australia as an appropriate training path for registration as a psychologist in Australia.
Programs
Bond University offers globally recognized and accredited degrees and students can start right now thanks to Bond’s three-semester-per-year system that aligns itself with U.S. academic calendars. Meaning prospective students start their studies in January, May or September.
Bond offers Master’s degree programs in the areas of: Actuarial Science; Architecture & Built Environment; Business & Commerce; Communication & Creative Media; Health Sciences; Hotel & Tourism Management; International Relations & Humanities; Law; Medicine; Social Science, Psychology & Counseling; and Sport.
Scholarships
Bond currently offers 12 postgraduate scholarships ranging from sports scholarships to entrepreneurial scholarships. The sports scholarship, the Hancock Prospecting Swimming Excellence Scholarship, is awarded to swimming scholars competing at an elite level of competition while gaining a world-class education.
Bond’s International Stand Out Scholarship applies to ‘stand out’ students applying to an undergraduate or postgraduate level. Awarded on the basis of academic merit the scholarship is a testament to Bond University’s dedication to top-quality international students.
Fun fact
Bond University is the 14th university and the first private university in the Pacific region to be acknowledged and accepted as a signatory to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs). Bond is dedicated to sustainability throughout all of its campus operations, community engagements as well as the management of finances and assets. This commitment to sustainability is evident in Bond’s several practices like the Recycling Program, Water Conservation Program and Energy Conservation.
