FGV EBAPE wants to build and disseminate knowledge in management while strengthening the synergy between the public and the private sectors, by training professionals to influence with conceptual and methodological rigor, ideas and actions relevant to the development of Brazil.
Location
FGV EBAPE’s campus, located in Rio de Janeiro, is a large, modern building that can accommodate 600 students and offers over 100 study spaces. Also found inside the three floor building are two Harvard-style lecture theaters with 70 seats and five large classrooms seating approximately 50 students.
Rio de Janeiro is Brazil’s most famous city, home to over fifteen million people creating the second-largest market in Brazil. Tourism runs supreme in Rio de Janeiro and every year thousands of visitors from across the globe travel to the city to witness its breathtaking beaches, monuments and many other natural attractions.
Accreditations
FGV EBAPE is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), one of the most important and prestigious accreditation bodies for business schools worldwide. The accreditation aims to promote engagement, innovation and increase the impact on executive education.
The school has also been accredited by the European Quality Improvement System (EFMD). The accreditation seal itself, named EQUIS, is internationally recognized as a standard of quality business schools around the world strive towards. The accreditation seal is specifically given to institutions that demonstrate a high degree of internationalization.
Programs
FGV EBAPE offers an MSc in Administration, a Masters in Management, and a Masters in Business Management. The Masters in Business Management is an intensive program meant to develop trained professionals towards careers in internationalization.
The Masters in Management leads students towards a path of sustainability management in emerging markets with an opportunity for a double degree.
The MSc in Administration consists of an interdisciplinary approach, through methodological and conceptual training on the same educational level as its international peers. Further knowledge gained in the program emphasizes the many different contexts of the reality in Brazil.
Scholarships
FGV EBAPE currently offers no scholarships for students looking to apply for a Masters program but discounts of 10% are given to alumni of FGV Graduate Programs if eligible. Click here for more information.
Fun fact
Eduardo Andrade, a FGV Ebape professor and researcher, was awarded the Outstanding Reviewer Award in 2021 by the Journal of Consumer Research. The journal is the world’s oldest and most prestigious concerning consumer behavior. Andrade has also received awards such as Outstanding Contribution award for an article published in the journal of Consumer Psychology and the title of Honorary Professor at the University of Sydney 8(since 2020).
