Research results only have an effect when they are applied within society. That is why Wageningen University & Research cooperates closely with companies, governments and civil society to ensure those results can provide value. We can turn this into a reality at the Wageningen Campus, as we can make our facilities available, help start-ups in their initial development and design solutions tailored to international issues.

Location

Wageningen Campus is a hub for business collaboration and start-ups. The campus is made up of a green oasis with wonderful visual art pieces scattered across the illustrous greenery. The meadows, hedgerows, and forested areas sit alongside modern, advanced facilities equipped with cutting-edge technology. 

Accreditations

Wageningen University is accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Board and has been since 2006. The accreditation covers the quality system of the organization and ensures continuous refinement and improvement of the programs and curricula. 

Programs

Wageningen University offers more than thirty Master’s programs that provide in-depth knowledge in the fields of life, social and environmental sciences. Students experience an extremely international study environment which makes for a unique learning experience. 

The list of programs tackle topics such as biotechnology, communication, management, climate studies, food technology, tourism, and many more. 

Scholarships

Wageningen University seeks to attract international students to its diverse classroom through several scholarship opportunities. The majority of the scholarships are merit-based while a few consider the candidates financial-need. 

Also found on the website are links to websites containing information regarding a range of Dutch scholarships aimed towards international students. Many international organizations also provide scholarships applicable to programs at Wageningen University. 

Fun fact

From the 11th to the 13th of April 2022, Wageningen University & Research organized a three-day conference ‘Circular@WUR’ comprising masterclasses, workshops, and networking between Netherland’s leading circular companies. Wageningen University states “Start-ups and Spin-off organizations… play a crucial role in the transition towards a circular economy.”
