BBS’ campus consists of a beautiful, green space which is just a 30-minute canal walk or a short train ride away from Birmingham’s city center. BBS boasts its vast array of facilities for hosting conferences, major events, sporting fixtures and drinks receptions. Also on campus are several museums and attractions such as the Lapworth Museum of Geology and The Barber Institute of Fine Arts.

Accreditations

Programs

BBS offers 6 master’s degree programs in the areas Accounting and Finance, 4 master’s programs corresponding with the areas of Economics, Finance and Statistics, 7 Management and Strategy MSc Programs, 3 Marketing MSc programs and 1 online MSc International Manage. 

The chance to study in Dubai and Singapore are also on the list of programs offered at BBS. 

The Financial Management MSc and International Business MSc are both available in Dubai and Singapore. The Management MSc (with specialist pathways in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Organizational Leadership and Change or Strategy) is also available at the Singapore location. 

Scholarships

BBS offers two types of master’s degree scholarships; the Birmingham Masters Scholarship and the Birmingham Business School MSc scholarships. 

In order to be eligible for the Birmingham Masters Scholarship candidates must be from the United Kingdom and entering into the subject areas of: Arts & Law, Engineering & Physical Sciences, Life & Environmental Sciences, Medical & Dental Sciences and Social Sciences. Scholarships are awarded to over 200 candidates based on their academic performance and/or professional experience.

On the other hand, the Birmingham Business School MSc Scholarships apply to individuals coming from the EU, Overseas (Non-EU) and the UK. BBS offers a number of these scholarships, some of which cover a student's full tuition fees.  

Fun fact

Birmingham is also nicknamed ‘Magic City’ because of its role in the Industrial Revolution. The city, built off iron works, expanded rapidly in the early parts of the 20th century and neighboring towns and villages were able to reap the rewards of Birmingham's success. The name became a symbol of its past and for many years a large sign declaring ‘Magic City’ stood proudly at the entry junction to the town.
