CEIBS was founded in Shanghai in 1994 as a joint venture between the Chinese government and the European Union, with Shanghai Jiao Tong University and EFMD as its executive partners. That origin gave it its positioning: China Depth, Global Breadth.  The school blends China-specific business insights with global learning. Two-thirds of its faculty are international. It has over 35,000 alumni globally.

Where is CEIBS Located?

CEIBS’s main campus is located in Shanghai, China's commercial and financial capital and one of the busiest business cities worldwide. The campus sits in Pudong. CEIBS has other campuses in Beijing, Shenzhen, Zurich, Switzerland, and Accra, Ghana. The Global MiM is taught in Shanghai, Paris, London, and Zurich.

Is CEIBS Accredited?

CEIBS was among the first business schools on the Chinese mainland to receive accreditation. It is accredited by EQUIS and AACSB.

What Programs Can I Study at CEIBS?

CEIBS offers the Global MiM, a two-year double degree program with ESCP Business School that begins in Shanghai and continues in Paris, London, and Zurich. The program is taught in English and is designed for recent graduates with little or no work experience. It includes a global internship.Graduates receive a master’s degree from each school.
