Location
Deusto Business School has two campuses: the Bilbao Campus and the San Sebastian Campus both containing world-class facilities and recreational rooms. The San Sebastian Campus is a walking distance away from the heart of the city and provides students with modern facilities.
The Bilbao campus sits in a privileged location with views of the Guggenheim Museum, the Iberdrola Tower, and the Euskalduna Palace of Congress which are all architecturally astonishing. Bilbao’s urban renewal has seen it become the financial and commercial heart of the Cantabrian coastal region.
Accreditations
The Agency for Quality of the Basque University System (Unibasq), a state owned body attached to the Basque Government’s department responsible for universities, have evaluated and consider Deusto Business School to be in accordance with their guidelines.
Deusto Business School has obtained accreditation from AMBA (Association of MBAs), one of the world’s leading bodies on the advancement of postgraduate business education. With this recognition, Deusto Business School is considered to be at the highest level of business education at the postgraduate level.
Programs
Deusto Business School currently offers Masters Degrees in: Management; Finance & Auditing; European & International Business; and Human Resources. The school has recently made the Masters in Management available in English and is aimed at Graduates who previously have not studied business management disciplines.
The Master’s in International Business has also recently been added to the list of programs at Deusto Business School. The program encourages students with international study trips to Morocco and China where they will have the chance to improve their understanding of international markets on-site.
Scholarships
Deusto Business School has collaborated with companies, foundations, and entities to co-finance their master’s programs as well as scholarships available to prospective students. The Basque Government Youth Entrepreneurship Program considers participants enrolled in the master’s degree eligible for a €3,800 donation to help with their start up initiatives.
Scholarships are also available for unemployed people registered in Bizkaia under the BBK Foundation, and when students carry out the entrepreneurship project an employment contract is offered with a minimum salary of €1,000 per month.
Fun fact
Deusto Business Schools’ headquarters can be found in Madrid, situated in a small palace in the Salamanca district. The Madrid headquarters is home to classrooms for executive training courses, academic staff, meeting and teamwork rooms and as well as a library and an auditorium. The meetings of the Board of Directors of Deusto Business School also take place inside the conference rooms of the Madrid headquarters.
