The School of Business is located in Boston, a city in which SImmons draws on many of its cultural, economic, educational, historical, and scientific resources offering students a unique experience.
The campus is situated in the Fenway neighborhood and is within walking distance of the Longwood Medical Area, a place where a multitude of Simmons students have completed internships and clinical rotations. Bianca Valerio, a graduate of Simmons University, School of Business became the first Hispanic woman elected to the Pasadena City Council in November of 2021. She acknowledges Simmons as essential to her professional success and states “Simmons was giving women a fighting shot at success and acknowledged the difficulties women experience in life and the work field.”
