The School of Business is located in Boston, a city in which SImmons draws on many of its cultural, economic, educational, historical, and scientific resources offering students a unique experience. 

The campus is situated in the Fenway neighborhood and is within walking distance of the Longwood Medical Area, a place where a multitude of Simmons students have completed internships and clinical rotations. Simmons is also relatively near to Cambridge’s Kendall Square, a hub for innovation and successful startups. 

Simmons University School of Business is accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), one of the world’s most prestigious international accreditation associations. The achievement places Simmons among the top universities worldwide in business education. The accreditation reflets the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and acts as verification to students and employers of the quality of education. 

Most programs at Simmons University offer scholarships, but not all, therefore it is important to check with your graduate program admission office to see if you could be eligible for any potential scholarships. 

Merit scholarships usually do not require a seperate application unless stated so. The awards are given based on academic performance, leadership achievements, community service, work experience, and other talents.  

Bianca Valerio, a graduate of Simmons University, School of Business became the first Hispanic woman elected to the Pasadena City Council in November of 2021. She acknowledges Simmons as essential to her professional success and states “Simmons was giving women a fighting shot at success and acknowledged the difficulties women experience in life and the work field.”
