Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), the only technological university in Estonia, is the flagship of Estonian engineering and technology education. Here the synergy between different fields (technological, natural, exact, economic and health sciences) is created and new ideas are born. TalTech is to become one of the leading technological universities in the Baltic Sea region.

Location

TalTech offers students a compact, cozy campus equipped with modern facilities, state-of-the-art laboratories, an exquisite library, a business center, an active student house, several restaurants, a sports hall, and a growing number of student organizations. 

Estonia is home to a rapidly growing economy and a number of international and regional corporations. The city attracts an increasing number of tourists every year due to the low cost of living, opportunities for employment after studies, and affordable tuition. 

Accreditations

TalTech is accredited by the Quality Assessment Council for Higher Education of the Estonian Quality Agency for Higher and Vocational Education (EKKA) in which EKKA decided to accredit TalTech until 2029 (when the institutional accreditation takes place again). 

Through the accreditation, TalTech is recognized for a successful implementation of a holistic, thorough curriculum and education as well as responding effectively to the recommendations of the previous institutional accreditation. 

Programs

TalTech offers a variety of Master’s degree programs under their four Schools: School of Information Technologies, School of Engineering, School of Business & Governance, and School of Science. The programs are consistently refined to adapt to the ever-changing realities and provide students with several modern perspectives. 

Scholarships

TalTech offers a wide range of scholarships awarded based on merit and/or financial need. Outstanding students have the opportunity to receive a full tuition fee waiver from TalTech if their academic, personal, and professional profile go above and beyond the requirements. 

Fun fact

TalTech offers a start-up center for students with a science-based idea with the aim of developing a concept into a working reality. The TalTech DeepEST Spin-off program is an intensive 3-month program for individuals and teams with an inspiring idea. Particiaptns are supported with hands-on workshops and mentors whose only goal is make your idea a success.
