Location
UBC Sauder is located on the edge of the Pacific Ocean on the University of British Columbia’s wonderful Vancouver campus. Vancouver is often referred to as the ‘Silicon Valley North’ for good reason, it's a hub for startups like Hootsuite and Recon Instruments, two companies founded at UBC Sauder.
Students enjoy the lovely environment of Vancouver with beaches minutes away from campus meaning plenty of paddle boarding and kayaking all year round. The nearby mountains offer skiing in the winter and beautiful hiking trips in the summer. Vancouver is truly a wonderful place to study let alone live, having all the hallmarks of the world’s greatest cities.
Accreditations
UBC Sauder is accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), one of the most prestigious international accreditation bodies globally. AACSB provides specialized accreditation for business and accounting programs at higher education institutions.
AACSB accreditation will serve to amplify UBC Sauder’s global reputation and reflect UBC Sauder’s commitment to continuous improvement and adaptation of their programs to fit the ever-changing needs of the business world.
Programs
UBC Sauder offers the Master of Management, Master of Business Analytics and Master of Science in Business Administration. The Master of Management is a 9 month program aimed towards university graduates with non-business undergraduate degrees, providing an opportunity to gain skills highly sought after by employers.
The Master of Business Analytics, is a 12-month program providing students with the tools to cover the advanced analytics spectrum.
The Master of Science in Business Administration is also a 12-month program with three different specializations: Finance, Management Information Systems, Transportation & Logistics.
Scholarships
UBC Sauder offers a variety of entrance scholarships to 20-30% of every class. The scholarships are awarded to students with an outstanding academic profile as well as a commitment to their career ambitions.
All applicants who have submitted their application are automatically considered for the scholarships listed, UBC Sauder strongly encourages prospective students to submit their application as early as possible.
Fun fact
UBC Sauder firmly believes Indigenous culture, values, identities, ways of knowing, and knowledge systems must be respected and integrated into business education. Therefore, UBC Sauder have implemented the Ch’nook program, a course that incorporates and promotes these indegnous values. UBC Sauder is continuously working with diverse Indigenous communities and organizations to refine the program and gain a deeper understanding.
