Location

Maastricht University is the most international university in the Netherlands, with nearly 16,300 students and 4,300 employees. The School is located in Maastricht, the oldest city in the Netherlands with plenty of architectural attractions and modern events students of UMIO have easy access to. 

Accreditations

UMIO has achieved “Triple Crown '' accreditation by the international accrediting bodies AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA. These accreditation bodies are the most prestigious and longest-serving in the world, with the “Triple Crown'' status only being awarded to a select group of 1% of educational institutes globally. 

Programs

UMIO offers a range of programs spanning across disciplines like Management, Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Digital Leadership, and many more. 

The MBA and Executive Master’s programs are delivered in English while the Management Master’s programs are available in Dutch. 

UMIO also offers several courses available through online delivery offering increased flexibility in the format and schedule for working professionals. UMIO can also build online and blended programs for professional teams and organizations on request. 

Scholarships

Each year, MBA students at UMIO can apply for a teacher grant fro DUO - the educational execution agency for the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science. Click here to check your eligibility for the scholarship. 

Fun fact

UMIO and the European Heart Academy (EHA) have started a collaborative project with the aim of developing a training program designed to create future leaders in cardiovascular medicine, starting in April 2022. The program will provide students with the ability to lead and manage healthcare systems of the future, tailor-made for mid-career healthcare professionals interested in cardiology and with ambitions to become a leader with broad societal and economic perspectives.
