Location
WHU has campuses in two locations, Vallendar and Düsseldorf. Vallendar is home to WHU’s Bachelor, Master, Kellog-WHU Executive MBA, and Doctoral programs while the Full-time MBA, Part-time MBA, and Executive Education programs are delivered in Düsseldorf.
WHU Campus Vallendar is situated in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, alongside castles and vineyards. The area has been awarded UNESCO world heritage site status for historic relevance.
WHU Campus Düsseldorf is a hub for regional and international corporations making it a vibrant, dynamic place to study. The city offers a great mix of modern urban feats with a traditional, peaceful atmosphere.
Accreditations
WHU is accredited by EQUIS, AACSB, and FIBAA. EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) is a globally renowned accreditation for its outstanding quality across all fields. AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) is arguably the most prestigious and well-known accreditation for business schools in the world.
FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) ensures that WHU continues to make efforts to increase their internationalism and constantly streamline WHU’s established quality management system.
Programs
WHU offers six Master’s programs that focus on International Business, Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Management and Business Analytics (new!). The Master in Management (MSc) is available in part-time and full-time formats for added flexibility to working professionals who are already busy with professional responsibilities.
The programs take from 17-21 months on average with the exception of the Double Degree program that consists of 24 months due to the nature of the program.
Scholarships
WHU offers a range of scholarships for Master of Science students, including the WHU Merit Scholarship and the WHU Female Founders Scholarship The prior, aimed towards outstanding candidates and covers 25% of their tuition fees, awarded on a first come, first served basis.
The WHU Female Founders Scholarship aims to close the gender gap by developing talent and empowering women to participate in entrepreneurial action. The Scholarship covers 25% of the candidates tuition fees.
Fun fact
WHU organizes several academic and professional conferences at their campuses throughout the years. The Whu Campus for Controlling is a conference of the Institute of Management Accounting and Control, designed for controlling experts and managers from corporate practice. The event aims to encourage dialogue between research and controlling practice.
