Nyenrode’s Breukelen campus features the majestic Nyenrode Castle, after which the school is named. Dating back to the 13th century, Nyenrode Castle has witnessed numerous transformations, ownerships, and roles. For Iza, this meant pursuing a Nyenrode’s Master of Science in Management (MiM). Iza says, “I decided to study at Nyenrode because it was the best next step in expanding my knowledge of the world of business.” (00:43)
Many students prefer a Master in Management over an MBA due to its accessibility to those early in their careers. MiM programs don’t require extensive work experience like MBAs. With a broader and more theoretical curriculum, the MiM offers a solid foundation to develop management, research, and leadership skills.
Besides the Breukelen location, there is the option to study at Nyenrode’s Amsterdam location. The Nyenrode building is in the heart of the city and provides students access to Amsterdam’s business network, a business incubator, events, and a lounge.

“Living on campus has given me the chance to experience many new things, getting to know other cultures, being a part of committees, and several events,” Iza says. (01:35)

Iza says, “After a long class, it’s always nice to meet up with some friends. We usually do this at the Rostrum, which is one of our favorite hang-out spots on campus, especially during summer.” (01:20)
