Location
The Bentley campus is located in Waltham, Massachusetts, originally a major contributor to the American Industrial Revolution the city became a prototype for 19th century industrial city-planning. This sense of origin is not only reflected in the fascinating architecture and design of the campus but the school prides itself over its fraternity and sorority life, kept alive through Greek traditions.
At Bentley there are over 100 student organizations and 200 campus events annually, meaning whatever your interests may be there will certainly be several opportunities to get involved.
Accreditations
Bentley is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). Bentley has also been accredited by AACSB for its accounting program.
The NECHE is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a permanent authority on quality of education for accredited institutions. The AACSB accreditation holds institutions to an increasingly high standard, verifying Bentley’s commitment to advancing the quality of their programs.
Programs
Bentley University currently offers a Master’s in Accounting, Master’s in Finance, Master’s in Human Factors in Information Design and a Master’s in Taxation. All of the master’s programs are available in full-time, part-time and STEM formats. Both the Master’s in Human Factors in Information Design and the Master’s in taxation are available online as well.
Scholarships
Bentley awards MBA & Master’s Degree scholarships in merit-based aid to highly qualified part-time and full-time graduate students. Based on an individual's academic, professional and personal achievements disregarding financial need.
Bentley awards upwards of $2 million in scholarships which take the form of tuition remission in which candidates must maintain a 3.0 GPA to retain eligibility. Bentley also offers a select number of partial to full Dean’s Leadership scholarships for academically sufficient prospective students enrolling in the MBA program with endorsement from their organization.
Fun fact
In 2021 Bentley University created the Bentley Spring Stock Market Challenge in which they invited students to join them in a friendly contest to determine which Bentley students had the most stock market acumen. Each recipient was given $50,000 in “virtual dollars” to trade and the winner awarded a $400 Bentley bookstore gift card.
