School

Location

The University is located in a beautiful urban area with plenty of green space to go around. The campus has been consistently recognized by Forbes as one of the “Most Beautiful College Campuses” and the New York Times as “the most ambitious campus-design program in the country.”

Accreditations

The University of Cincinnati and all of its regional campuses are accredited by the Higher Learning Commision (HLC). HLC, independent corporation founded in 1895, accredits degree-granting post-secondary educational institutions across 19 states with the goal of serving “the common good by assuring and advancing the quality of higher learning.” 

The Carl H. Lindner College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) as well all its master’s degree programs. Each program at UC has been approved by the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) certifying the institution's commitment to educational excellence. 

Programs

University of Cincinnati has 8 available programs at Carl H Lidner College of Business: Applied Economics; Business Administration Accounting; Business Administration Business Analytics; Business Administration Finance; Business Administration Finance; Business Administration Information Systems; Business Administration Marketing; Business Administration Tax; and Human Resources. 

All of the programs take 1 year to complete apart from Business Administration Tax MS and Business Administration Information Systems MS as the prior is delivered online via virtual classes and takes 2 years to complete whereas the latter takes 1.5 years to complete physically. 

Scholarships

Carl H. Lindner College of Business offers several scholarships of up to $24,000 for prospective master’s programs students. A large amount of the scholarships are available for all levels of students (from Freshman to Graduate) as well as a handful of scholarship solely for Graduates such as the: Graduate Incentive Award (GIA) and Graduate Assistance Scholarship (GAS) which is a UC-funded scholarship. 

Specifically for graduates, the James Madison Memorial Fellowship Foundation can help students with a tuition waiver of up to $24,000 with the aim of helping current and prospective secondary teachers of American history and government or social studies.

UC’s mission to invent in and beyond the classroom has been the epicenter of many breakthrough contributions, of which the oral polio vaccine and the first antihistamine originated. UC’s contributions to the wellbeing of general society, premier patient care and training of healthcare professionals have earned the institution over $525 million in research funding.
