EHL Hospitality Business School, founded in 1893 as Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, is renowned as a center of excellence for service-focused industries. Location
EHL has three campus locations across Switzerland and Singapore. In Switzerland, EHL Campus Lausanne is a state-of-the-art campus, home to a variety of learning facilities, including 12 kitchens, see-through kitchens, a wine laboratory, an instructional garden and orchard, and an innovation food lab. Students can also access indoor and outdoor sports facilities and fitness centers. EHL Campus Passugg is located in a former spa hotel made up of several buildings that consist of practical learning facilities like demo kitchens and training restaurants, classrooms, and student accommodation.
In Singapore, the EHL Campus can be found near the wealthy residential Tanglin area, nearby the Singapore Botanical Gardens and a 15-minute walk from Orchard Road. While EHL Campus Singapore does not offer practical learning facilities like demo kitchens, the campus boasts 2,400 square meters of indoor space with five classrooms, four meeting rooms, a multi-purpose hall, and breakout spaces.
Accreditations
EHL Hospitality Business School is accredited by the University of Applied Sciences (HES-SO) and the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). EHL is also a member of the world’s largest business education alliance, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), as well as the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).
Programs
EHL Hospitality Business School offers three master’s programs. The Master in Hospitality Management is a full-time, 18-month program that takes place at EHL Campus Lausanne. The program aims to build skilled managers in the hospitality sector, giving students a choice of two academic routes: food & beverage management or hospitality finance, real estate, and consulting.
The Master in Global Hospitality Business is a 16-month, full-time program with a focus on managing the complexity of global hospitality operations. The program is made up of three semesters that take place across Europe, Asia, and the USA.
Lastly, the Master of Science in Wine & Hospitality Management is a 16-month program delivered jointly with Kedge Business School. The program takes place both online and in person in Paris, Bordeaux, and Lausanne.
Scholarships
EHL offers a scholarship for Swiss and international students in the Master in Hospitality Management program. Students may also be eligible for other forms of financial assistance from organizatins like the EHL Foundation for Scholarships and Honorary Loans. EHL alumni can also benefit from a 20% discount on tuition fees.
Fun fact
At EHL Campus Lausanne, the Innovation Village is an innovation ecosystem that aims to support entrepreneurship and drive innovation in the food and hospitality industry. Home to R&D initiatives, applied research workshops, a food lab, and a business incubator, the Innovation Village serves as a space for the advancement of ideas and creativity. It offers a place for students, alumni, entrepreneurs, and researchers to discover the latest innovations and trends in hospitality. Students at EHL Campus Lausanne can even use the Innovation Village Food Lab to test and develop new food concepts.
