The GMU School of Business has two campuses located just outside of Washington, D.C. The Fairfax Campus is located on 677 acres of wooded land, 25 minutes from downtown Washington, D.C. Mason Square (formerly the Arlington Campus) is based in the busy urban area of Virginia Square.
Located in close proximity to Washington, D.C., both companies offer students and graduates vast internship and career opportunities. Not only is Washington, D.C. home to the seat of government, but also to some of the largest organizations in the world, such as Amazon, Deloitte, Microsoft, T-Mobile, and Expedia.
The GMU School of Business offers six master’s programs: the Master’s in Accounting, the Master’s in Business Analytics, the Master’s in Finance, the Master’s in Management, the Master’s in Real Estate Development, and the Master’s in Technology Development.
All master’s programs are highly flexible to accommodate students’ work schedules. Students can customize their study programs and choose part-time or full-time formats. Students can also choose to complete their program online.
The GMU School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), which represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.
The GMU School of Business offers a variety of scholarships and financial aid opportunities for master’s students. For most master’s programs, every applicant is automatically considered for a merit-based scholarship upon admission. In the Master’s in Management, for example, 100% of new students in the last three years have received scholarships, averaging US$8,500 per student.
The Business for a Better World Center (B4BW) at the GMU School of Business is an initiative guided by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. One of the center’s programs is the Honey Bee Initiative, which is designed to empower communities through sustainable beekeeping. B4BW partners with local government, businesses, non-profit organizations, and community members to support environmental health, economic progress, and food security by saving the bees.
