Location

The McDonough School of Business is located in the Rafik B. Hariri Building, named after a Lebanese politician and educator. The building boasts 179,000 square feet in five stories offering modern classrooms, plenty of student lounges and study spaces, views of the campus from all floors, and a 400-seat auditorium for lectures. 

Georgetown is located in the capital city of Washington, D.C., meaning unparalleled access to business, government, policy, and diplomatic communities. Students often venture off campus for immersive site visits and work alongside organizations like The World Bank on research projects. 

Accreditations

Mcdonough School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). AACSB is one of the world’s most prestigious and longest-running international accreditation bodies. Business schools accredited by AACSB are a symbol of educational excellence and quality business education. 

Programs

McDonough offers six Master’s programs: Master of Science in Management, Master of Science in Business Analytics; Master of Science in Finance; Master of Science in Environment & Sustainability Management, Master of Science in Global Real Assets, and Master of Arts in International Business & Policy. They also offer an Executive Master’s in Leadership.

Taking a closer look at the Master of Science in Management (MiM) program: a 10-month, STEM-designated, full-time program designed for undergraduates with little work experience and various backgrounds. The MiM program offers a globally engaged community with the motivation to build technology and develop skills necessary to better society and business. 

Scholarships

McDonough School of Business offers scholarships on a merit-basis for American students as well as students coming from across the world. To be considered for a scholarship, applicants are to include a scholarship essay in their application form. 


The Scholarship packages include the Merit Scholarships, Diversity Scholarships, and GU Liveral Arts & STEM Scholarships, all of which evaluate an applicant’s academic, personal and professional accomplishments and community engagement.
