The IMI campus is located on the shores of Lake Luzern accompanied with breathtaking views of the Alps and the great mountains of Rigi and Pilatus. Student housing is conveniently placed for quick and easy access to lecture theaters, restaurants and leisure facilities.
If your ideal living situation involves beautiful natural scenery while living just 12 minutes away from a historic city with a vibrant café culture, the IMI campus is for you. You can also embark on a quick train ride to Paris, Rome, or Berlin where you can enjoy all the luxuries Europe has to offer; however, you probably won’t find a more scenic, postcard-worthy view than the Swiss Alps.
Accreditations
IMI International Management Institute, Switzerland is accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC), EduQua (Swiss quality management for education institutions), the Institute of Hospitality, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO),the Swiss Federation of Private Schools (SFPS), and the International Associate of Hotel Schools (EUHOFA).
IMI’s hospitality and culinary degree programs have been accredited by leading international organizations and educational institutes, validating IMI’s mission to educational excellence and strengthening their international recognition, beneficial to the program, institute, and students.
Programs
IMI currently offers Masters Degree programs in: International Hotel & Events Management, International Culinary Arts, and Hospitality and Events Management. The Master’s in International Culinary Arts and International Hotel & Events Management can be completed in 6-12 months while the MSc in Hospitality & Events Management takes 1-2 years to complete.
Scholarships
IMI does not offer full scholarships but periodically offers part-scholarships to certain applicants. Currently, Swiss nationals, C permit holders, or permanent residence B permit holders may be eligible for a reduction on tuition fees on each academic semester of study at IMI.
Fun fact
IMI is happy to announce the return of the Summer Progra in 2022, in which prospective students are welcomed on campus for two weeks of excursions and activities. Designed to give prospective students a taste of life at IMI and what it’s like to study hospitality, business or culinary arts degree courses.
