School

The McIntire School of Commerce is regarded as one of the nation's finest business schools, offering world-class programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and certificate levels. McIntire’s undergraduate program offers students a Bachelor of Science in Commerce degree; students may choose to concentrate in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Management, or Information Technology.

Location

McIntire has locations in Charlottesville and Northern Virginia. The University of Virginia has been home to the McIntire School of Commerce for nearly 100 years, located in the Rouss & Robertson Halls. 

Students of the M.S. in MIT Program study at the Valo Park site in Tysons Corner at the Northern Virginia campus, a 16-acre space in the heart of the city’s technological and financial district. 

Accreditations

McIntire School of Commerce is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business (AACSB), one of the world’s most prestigious and longest-running international accreditation bodies. Only the top business school globally share the accreditation, assuring students and employers of the quality of education. 

Programs

McIntire School of Commerce offers Masters of Science in: Accounting, Business Analytics, Commerce, Global Commerce, and Management of IT. The programs result in a broad spectrum of opportunities for recent graduates and professionals. 

Students are given specialized skill sets and tools that are highly sought after in the job market via an immersive, hands-on curriculum aimed to create transformative impact and provide applicable knowledge. 

Scholarships

McIntire offers scholarships to applicants with exceptional academic promise, come from a unique background, offer a different perspective, or demonstrate financial need. Usually two-thirds of the class receives a scholarship ranging from $5,000 to $27,500+ in financial aid.

Fun fact

The year 2021 marked the McIntire School of Commerce’s Centennial and resulted in several celebrations in the form of recognition of the milestone. McIntire honors faculty, alumni, corporate partners, students, and friends who have all played a significant role in shaping the future of the institution, innovating business education and preparing students for successful careers and impactful lives.
