Location
KU has offered programs in several locations across the US and the world but the main campus is in Lawrence, Kan. Both the main campus and the Edwards campus, constructed in 1933, are equipped with the latest technology in classrooms and modern facilities easily accessible by students, faculty, and staff.
Courses at the KU Edwards Campus earn the same credit as those at the main campus. In 2016, the school began to offer select programs in Leavenworth, Kansas, broadening their influence and reach while diversifying their student body and faculty.
Accreditations
The University of Kansas School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The accreditation puts KU among the top business schools in the world. It also means programs at KU have passed rigorous standards for quality, and the accreditation ensures students and employers of the educational standard.
Programs
KU School of Business offers a Master’s in: Organizational Leadership; Supply Chain Management; Business Analytics; and Accounting. The Master’s in Supply Chain Management and the Master’s in Organizational Leadership are offered exclusively at KU’s Leavenworth campus while the Master of Accounting program is available full-time at the Lawrence campus and part-time for working professionals at the Edwards Campus.
Scholarships
Scholarships at KU School of Business are awarded based on merit, need, and background. Students can apply for the scholarships through the KU Office of Admissions. Other scholarships provided by on-campus groups, departments and offices at KU are also available as well as private scholarships students can obtain from private businesses and local and state governments.
Fun fact
Recently, a KU accounting student, Luke Kennedy, was selected for the prestigious Postgraduate Technical Assistant Program with the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), an institution that develops financial accounting and report standards for U.S. based companies. FASB hold the program twice a year and only select six students across the nation, Kennedy is the first KU student to be chosen for the program.
