Location

The University offers 300+ clubs and organizations for you to explore during your studies. The College town of Albany is a great place for students to pursue professional ambitions as well as enjoy a night out with multitude of restaurants and activities. 

Whether you want to join a student-run club or participate in a University-wide special event, there is always something exciting to do on campus. 

Accreditations

The University at Albany School of Business is accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), one of the world’s longest-serving and most prestigious international accreditation associations. AACSB is the hallmark of excellence in management education and the accreditation reflects the School’s commitment to educational excellence. 

Programs

The School of Business at the University offers a range of Master’s degree programs, the majority of which are STEM designated. Part of the programs are available online or partially online whereas the majority of the courses are delivered on-campus. 

The areas of interest include Accounting, Computer Science, Economics, Information Science, Business Administration, Social Work, and many more. 

Scholarships

The University at Albany Foundation offers hundreds of endowed scholarships. The scholarships are awarded to prospective and current students based on academic excellence, financial need, leadership, service, talent, and criteria required by the scholarship donor. 

The deadline for applying for a scholarship is the 1st of June, 2022. 

Fun fact

Corey Nilon, a junior Biology major and president of UAlbany’s Special Olympics Club, believes in the power of sports to bring people together from all backgrounds and advance the University's mission of campus inclusivity. The club is now in its fifth year and continues to support Special Olympics New York via fundraising and advocacy efforts.
