Location

The University is located minutes from the beach, 75 miles from Boston and 160 miles from New York City. Rhode Island may be the smallest state in the nation but the area offers plenty to discover. 

Traveling to larger cities is made easy with the T.F. Green Airport is only 20 minutes away from the campus. URI also runs dozens of buses to and from campus everyday making every place in Rhode Island easily accessible to URI students, faculty, and staff.

The renovations include new facilities for engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, and communications. The Fascitelli Center for Advanced Engineering, a 182,000 square-foot, $150 million facility rivals any in the world.
