A world-famous city, San Francisco attracts millions of visitors every year to famous sites such as the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island, as well as its signature rolling hills and emblematic street cars. But, it is much more than a tourist hotspot. The wider San Francisco Bay Area is a prosperous, economically-active region home to a vast number of global organizations and innovative startups. If it were a country, the Bay Area would have the 17th-highest GDP in the world.
The University of San Francisco School of Management is located in the city’s Financial District. The likes of Facebook, Google, Twitter, JP Morgan Chase, and Marriott International are all headquartered just footsteps away from the campus, giving students unmatched networking and career opportunities.
The USF School of Management offers a range of business master’s programs, including courses in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Financial Analysis, Information Systems, Marketing Intelligence, Nonprofit Administration, Organization Development, and Public Administration.
All master’s programs are a mix of full-time and part-time. Tuition fees range from US$43,200 to $54,425.
The University of San Francisco School of Management is AACSB-accredited. The AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) is one of the world’s leading accrediting bodies, and just 5% of business schools worldwide hold AACSB accreditation.
The University of San Francisco offers a range of merit and financial-based scholarships to students. Merit scholarships include International Merit Scholarships (awarded to applicants from around the world), the Dean’s Merit Scholarship (awarded to exceptional students), and the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Merit Scholarship (awarded to students who currently own or have previously owned a business). Master’s applicants can also consider corporate sponsorship where their employer funds part or all of their education fees.
The University of San Francisco was founded in 1855 as St. Ignatius Academy. It had just one classroom and on the university’s opening day just three students showed up – giving the university a 1:1 student-to-faculty ratio!
Nowadays, the university is home to more than 10,000 students and 117,000 alumni. The current student-to-faculty ratio at USF is 13:1.
