Scholarships
The University of San Francisco offers a range of merit and financial-based scholarships to students. Merit scholarships include International Merit Scholarships (awarded to applicants from around the world), the Dean’s Merit Scholarship (awarded to exceptional students), and the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Merit Scholarship (awarded to students who currently own or have previously owned a business). Fun fact
The University of San Francisco was founded in 1855 as St. Ignatius Academy. It had just one classroom and on the university’s opening day just three students showed up - giving the university a 1:1 student-to-faculty ratio!
