Esade stands out for its strong ties to the business community, promoting innovation and social transformation. With a history spanning over half a century, Esade has built a global network through partnerships with 180+ universities worldwide, offering bachelor's, master's, and double degree programs across business and law.
Location
Esade has three campuses, with two locations in Barcelona and one in Madrid. The Pedralbes campus in Barcelona spans 32,655 m², consisting of three buildings in one of the many stunning residential areas in Barcelona. While surrounded by green spaces, the campus features all the facilities and resources needed by students and faculty.
Esade’s other campus in Barcelona – the Sant Cugat campus – is widely known for its connections with the business communities. The Esade Creapolis, a park spanning 17,520 m², is where local business communities and the university come together to share their expertise. Esade’s Madrid campus is its smallest location but could be its most innovative, boasting the latest technology equipped in classrooms for over 3,500 students and participants from Esade’s partner companies.
Accreditations
Esade has been internationally accredited by the three most prestigious educational accrediting institutions worldwide: The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB); the Equis Accreditation Board (EQUIS); and the Association of MBAs (AMBA).
Esades master’s programs have also been accredited by AQU Catalunya.
Programs
Esade currently offers a variety of master’s degree programs split under the two disciplines of Law and Management. The master’s programs under Management consist of subjects such as Business Analytics, Finance, Marketing Management, and Entrepreneurship. All programs take 1 year to complete via a full-time schedule.
Esade’s Masters in Law focuses on legal practice, international business law, tax management, and intellectual property.
Scholarships
Esade offers three options in terms of financial aid for students: The Esade study assistance fund; the Esade MSc scholarships; and a comprehensive student loan program. One of Esades scholarships is the Talent & Need Scholarship, given out to candidates with an exceptional Admissions Test Score and significant financial need.
Esade’s Partnership Scholarships consist of 3 scholarships provided to students by institutions aiming to support young professionals in developing their education. A talent-based (only) scholarship is also available in the form of Esade’s MSc Excellence Awards for candidates with an outstanding academic profile.
Fun fact
Esade hosts an annual event called the Creativity for Business Innovation Challenge (C4Bi) that challenges MSc and BBA students to create solutions to various business challenges using the creative method of Ferran Adrià, one of the world’s best chefs. To invent a proposal, season that with knowledge gained in the program, and present it to a panel of experts (including Adrià himself).
